Shipping from Canada to US or Canada

Do people know if there are ways to ship donations from within Canada to destinations in the US or within Canada? I'm interested in delivery means accessible in Toronto, not those that involve crossing the border to ship

Hi, Aussie and YVR;
Semen can be overnighted to the USA. But it has to be declared as "non-infectious human semen, properly pkgd and stored in uline shipper (or equivalent)" in shipping information on waybill and commercial invoice. It has to be signed, then the shipper packaged into a diagnostic specimen pak (available from Fedex). Unless there are any issues with the persons sending it, the two documents filled out (waybill and invoice), the contents properly stored and sealed, the shipment should clear customs. Respect customs, fill out declarations properly. Shipping cross-border can range from 66 to 75 dollars. Overnight it by Fedex is the best. Shippers come from the semen shipper companies.

1I hope ToddDaigneault chimes in here - he does a bunch of shipping to US recipients. I'm open to the idea of shipping as well, but haven't had any inquiries from recips yet. It would be nice to know what's needed in advance!
At the risk of hijacking your topic, I think the things to consider include:
- What shippnig companies to use, and what shipping time is best - is overnight the quickest available?
- How much should shipping cost?
- What packaging methods to use?
- What customs paperwork needs to be filled out?
- Will US customs halt these shipments based on the contents? Is it best to call in advance?
- Others???
